**According to that IMDB page, it’s shooting in Enid, OK, so I’m guessing that was it. So far the book is really good — its pretty raw with its descriptions of sex and violence (and the strange places those two things intersect) for that time period.

Thank you, Ken. That was definitely it. My dad’s friend whom we were staying with told me about it, and he wasn’t sure of the name. I didn’t have any internets to check it out. He also told me that one of the girls in the movie was there apologizing to some people for putting up pictures of sharks in Oklahoma City. He said she was someone he had never heard of, so I wasn’t too worried about walking over to see her. Damn. DAMN.
